Created by the community and parents and students of Luther Burbank Elementary, this 8 ft by 3 ft mural is installed at the school's front desk, welcoming students daily. It was inspired by the school's namesake, Luther Burbank, a renowned horticulturist. In addition to hundreds of fruits and vegetables, he developed what he called the perfect flower: the Shasta Daisy.

This project was supported by the "Garden of the Mind" nonprofit organization, which has brought many enhancements to Burbank School, by means of art and gardening programs.
